Preschool Nature Collage

Preschoolers love to explore nature and the world around them. Take a walk outside; explore nature with your preschooler. Talk about what animals eat and where the animals live. Explore the leaves changing colors. Collect interesting looking items from outside. Preschoolers choose what items are interesting to them. Use your collected items to create a interesting preschool nature collage.

What You Will Need

Plastic bowl
Styrofoam
Items collected from nature

How To Make It

Step 1:
Put the styrofoam inside the bowl.

Step 2:
Arrange the items found outside in the styrofoam.

Step 3:
Display the collage in a place where the preschooler can frequently ask questions and talk about nature.

Step 4:
Point out items upon seeing them again outside to remind the preschooler how those items are used in nature.
