Popsicle Stick Puzzles

Popsicle stick puzzles provide an opportunity for parents and preschoolers to make puzzles out of popsicle sticks. This project uses simple materials, namely, popsicle sticks, markers, and tape. Preschoolers develop critical thinking skills, fine motor skills, and long term memory.
What You Will Need
Five popsicle sticks per one puzzle
Tape
Permanent markers
How To Make It
Tape five popsicle sticks together. Put tape on backside only
Draw a picture on the front of the popsicle sticks after they have been taped together
Show preschoolers the picture
Take the tape off the back of the popsicle sticks
Mix up the popsicle sticks
Preschooler puts the picture back together
Make it More Challenging
Hide the popsicle sticks around the room. Preschooler must find the sticks in the room, then put the picture together!
